FUN YACHT RACING

Based at the Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia

Fun  has been the leading J24 racing in South Australia, for many years and during the 2007 season was ranked No 1 in SA. The team is headed by Alyn Stevenson and Peter Stevens who joined forces 4 years ago to form Fun Yacht Racing.

Our team is very active sailing windward - leewards in the J24 and doing Offshore races in the J105 "Jumpin Jack Flash".

Fun 2 AUS205  is an Italian boat that has had 500 hours preparation spent on her ready for a gruelling 2 year campaign which will include 2 Nationals and a Worlds.

BREAKING NEWS : fun2 along with Kaizen were hit by a twister 00 meters from the marina and both sank within a minute. Fun2 which had buoyancy tanks was salvaged and tow submerged back to the crane and Kaizen was lost in the surf the following day.

Fortunately all crew were wearing PFD's and no injuries were sustained.
